Why did you buy a town home again?

Here is our “yard” the space between the house on the left side and the driveway. Why the hell would you buy one of these if you A)have multiple children or B) a dog. We are not on a cul-de-sac, we do not have fenced in yards. We have a neighbor that has the sweetest golden retriever and they let him roam without a leash. He came over from across the street to hang out with Rob when he was working in the garage the other day, being the nice people that we are Rob walked the dog back over to its home. When he went around the side of their house the lady of the house was on the phone and saw Rob with her dog, when Rob told her that the dog came for a visit she got all bitchy at him. He wasn’t hurting anyone.. “fine.. I’ll put him inside”

So today I come home from class and the dog is once again lounging around off leash. I am sorry but on the other side of our house is Main street, a busy street, and if he is willing to wonder over here what is stopping him from wondering there. I called the non-emergency number and told them about the dog. When they asked I told them about her response to my husband when he returned the dog the last time. They sent a community officer over to their house, the dog was not out so he called and asked what the dog looked like so when he knocked on the door he knew it was the right house. He was over there for 5 minutes. She then walked down our block looking at houses. My garage door was open, she might think it was me but there is also a garage sale going on at the end of the block I could always blame them :) Yep I am a bitch

I care about the poor dogs being stuck inside all day but that is why we don’t have a dog. You knew moving here that you have no yard, no place for the dog to roam free and no place to put the slip-&-slide or the moon bounce you want to rent for the kids birthday. This was not a surprise. All I ask is you respect your neighbors. Young kids and dogs should not be left unattended and toys and dogs should not end up in other peoples driveways, seriously

I couldn't agree more. Fortunately, we don't have children on our block, at least I don't think we do as I never see any, thank goodness. We used to have a problem with one of the neighbors that let her big dog poop in our yard, but she quit doing that some time ago. Maybe she read my blog. ;)

Hey, my vet in Suburban Utopia is hiring -- I thought of you right away; email me if you want details!
